We have just returned from a three night break with the family. We had three rooms, and all were lovely - clean, quiet, comfortable and warm with good bathrooms. My husband is in a wheelchair, and our accessible room on the ground floor was perfectly equipped with grab handles, a high loo with safety rails, a wet room shower and low basin, but also looked attractive and not too “medical”. Breakfast was good, and the hard working staff were prompt and efficient. Tables were cleared very quickly, unlike as mentioned in another review. The family loved the pool, which they said was very warm - we booked a timeslot each day, and they usually had the pool to themselves, or with another couple of people. We had dinner each night, and the food was absolutely delicious - good choices with the menu changing after two nights. The fig and goats cheese and the vegetable timbale with goats cheese starters were fabulous, as were the chicken, the sea bass and the vegetable curry. Great choice of desserts too, and our grandson’s food on the children’s menu also was well received! The staff were uniformly excellent. Yes, the paintwork in the corridors was a little tired, but that’s such a small criticism when the welcome, comfort, food and service are so good. Would recommend, and hope to return.
