We visit Bournemouth whenever we can get a weekend away and have done a few hotels in the area. This is by far our favourite.
We’ve stayed in nice hotels with pools but Norfolk Royale is in such a brilliant location it ticks all the boxes and we’ve already booked for our 3rd stay.
The rooms are very spacious, very comfortable and easily accessible from hotel lobby / bar etc (nothing worse than a trek to your room!)
The pool is fairly small / square but ample for a swim or a splash about and seems to never be busy, Towels available from Reception.
I enjoyed breakfast but my husband didn’t - not much on the continental brekkie side either. But you’re so close to everything there - you have lovely patisseries, bistros, and Moons pub, all open for breakfast very close by.
The staff are very pleasant and helpful but particularly Hunter in the hotel bar who works extremely hard, always very happy and attentive.
Definitely recommend and looking forward to our next stay.
